We Need Your Help

FeedOurChildrenNow71x80

On July 14th, the Warped Tour will be coming to Darien Lake. On that day, prior to the show, an organization called Feed Our Children NOW! will be holding a food drive to benefit our pantry. They anticipate collecting as many as 10,000 cans of food that day and they have asked us to come to Darien Lake that day to pick them up.

Preliminary plans are to take a large truck to Darien Lake that afternoon, load the food and return it to the pantry. This will be a significant event for our pantry and we will need several volunteers both at Darien Lake and back at the pantry that day. If you are interested in volunteering for this event, go to our Volunteer FAQ page by clicking here. On that page you will see a link to register as a volunteer. Once registered, log in then click on the Sign Up To Volunteer link to volunteer for this event.

Please consider volunteering at either location. We hope to organize some sort of car pool for volunteers working at Darien Lake. More information will follow including sign-up sheets on the Volunteer Portal.

Thank You

LetterCarrierFoodDrive2016

This year’s Letter Carriers Food Drive was a huge success. At last count, over 4,000 lbs of food were donated to our pantry and we still have a large number of donations to sort and count.

Thank you to the residents of Depew for your donations, the letter carriers of the Depew post office for collecting the donations and to the many volunteers who helped process the donations.

Our pantry shelves are now well stocked with much more in reserve. The individuals and families the we serve have already benefited from this food drive and will continue to benefit from it for some time to come.
